All of the Pirelli Scorpion Race tires use the rubber compound "SmartEVO DH Compound" it is the specific formulation for enduro and downhill competitions, developed in Pirelli's motorsport compound department thanks to the many years of experience from the motocross and rally world championships.

Enduro - Uses DualWALL.
DualWALL is the special structure dedicated to enduro competitions. The 120tpi double ply body is combined with a rubber kit that reinforces the tire's "bead" area, which is most prone to punctures.
The DualWALL construction is the choice for enduro riders looking for maximum contact with the ground without compromising the well-known reliability of double-thickness construction.

DH - Using DualWALL+.
DualWALL+ is the special structure dedicated to downhill and enduro competitions. It consists of a 60tpi full double ply body together with a rubber kit in the 'bead' area and an additional layer of fabric that stabilizes the tire sidewall.
Thanks to the experience of our factory riders, we have developed our most reliable frame that provides support under high loads and in fast corners. DualWALL+ is the choice for the most demanding cyclists with the most aggressive riding style.

M -
The M is the most versatile model in the Scorpion Race range: it has a tread design specially engineered for mixed terrains, from hard packed courses to medium soft natural sections of the trails.

T -
T is named after "traction", whether it's acceleration, braking or cornering. This tire's special design is engineered to offer grip in every phase of the bike's ride, providing superior control and stopping power. T has its best use from mixed to soft ground. The T-model works excellently to use as rear tire in combination with the M-model as front tire.
