Burgtec The Cloud DH Saddle

Winning World Cup races while still a prototype, the Cloud DH was developed alongside our engineering team and athletes to redefine what a downhill saddle should be. 

Modern downhill bikes are longer, faster and more capable than ever before, yet most riders are still using saddles designed around pedalling efficiency rather than descending performance. Working closely with our riders, we set out to change that. 

The Cloud DH was built from the ground up around the demands of gravity riding. A shorter overall length and narrower profile maximise rider movement, allowing riders to move freely around the bike without interference when the terrain gets steep, technical or unpredictable. 

Padding was approached differently too. Rather than adding more, we focused on adding it where riders actually need it. Strategic support in key contact areas provides comfort while eliminating unnecessary bulk everywhere else. 

Every curve, dimension and material choice was shaped by rider feedback and refined through real-world testing. The result is a saddle that feels invisible when you’re moving around the bike and supportive when you need it most. 

Race-proven at the highest level and developed with some of the fastest riders in the world, the Cloud DH is purpose-built for one thing: going faster.
