• Improved Pattern Design: In comparison with its predecessor, the MICHELIN DH22 has evolved extensively to provide indisputable performance on mixed and soft ground. Its tread blocks have been lowered and, by minimising flexing of the tread, riders benefit from improved efficiency when re-accelerating, plus greater stability on harder ground. Lastly, the gradually-rounded form of the MICHELIN DH22's shoulder blocks reduces rolling resistance and increases lateral grip for greater cornering comfort.
• New Construction: The DH22 features a 55/120 TPI dual-ply casing with a double-woven nylon layer for maximum strength and puncture resistance. Despite these reinforcements, the tires are 11% lighter than their predecessors, which contributes to better acceleration and handling.
• Magi-X Rubber Compound: The DH22 uses the new Magi-X rubber compound which provides extra grip at low temperatures and improved rolling resistance. This mixture contributes to an overall efficiency improvement of 19% compared to previous models.
