DT SWISS Nipple Standard Pro Lock Alloy - Black

The DT standard aluminum nipple is the choice for the wheel project looking to save some weight. The nipples are available with or without DT Pro Lock, the liquid inside the nipple thread, which makes the connection between nipple and spoke extremely durable. It pairs perfectly with any wheel as it is available in multiple lengths and colors of red, black, silver, blue, purple, gold, green and turquoise.

DT Pro Lock is a process where a dual compound, adhesive liquid is injected into the nipple thread, allowing for extremely durable wheel builds. By threading the nipple onto the spoke the adhesive is activated and starts to harden. Re-truing the wheel is still possible after the adhesive has hardened completely, with only a minimal decrease of its thread-lock function.
