With the chain indicator from Unior, chain wear can be measured easily and quickly. The wear is determined with the measuring angles on the gauge, which is inserted between the chain links. You get a quick and easy percentage indication. Make sure to change your chain on time and save time and money on unnecessary wear and tear on the cassette and chainring.

Usage:
11-12 speed chain should be replaced at 0.5% wear.
9-10 speed chain should be replaced at 0.6% wear.
5-8 speed chain should be replaced at 0.7% wear.
The indicator is designed to measure between 10 links in the chain. Chains do not wear evenly, so for the most accurate results it is best to measure at least three different parts of the chain.
