Sapim Nipple Polyax Double Square Alu Secure Lock

The lightweight, color-anodized aluminum nipples are a perfect match for Sapim spokes. The Polyax shape of the head allows the nipple to better adapt to the direction of pull, thus preventing the spoke from bending too much. Additionally, the nipple features a safety system called "Secure Lock" in the form of a punching. This prevents the nipples from coming loose under high stress. 

Double square nipples were developed specifically for truing machines, but have quickly become popular for manual work as this nipple shape makes it possible to tighten the spokes from the inside, which does not damage the visible surface of the nipples when tightening.
