The lightweight Galfer Wave brake discs are made of high-quality, laser-cut stainless steel featuring a high carbon content. The carbon ensures high heat resistance, especially in the brake track area.
In addition, the quiet, low-vibration Wave rotors feature powerful, progressive braking performance that provides consistent brake force distribution in both wet and dry conditions. An effective anti-corrosion finish ensures long-lasting durability.

This review is for the center-lock version, but the braking ought to feel the same, irrespektive of how the rotor's attached to the hub.
I got the Galfer rotor, cuz braking with the original (Shimano-)rotor always felt a bit 'feeble', even though the brakes worked perfectly. What i did not expect was that a 0.2mm thicker rotor felt so much more 'substantial'. (the Shimano rotor is 1,8mm, the Galfer 2mm)
Installing the rotor was very easy and done in about 2min. YMMV with the 6-bolt disc.
A nice addition: I feel that i have less of a 'free stroke', but that might be wishful thinking on my part..
As to Grip4Days: exeptional fast service, as usual. Thanx, J., for the tip!
Great discs, I have these on all my bikes now. Really good quality and lots of braking power
